Children’s Day celebration at SMD School

Panchkula, November 14, 2019: SMD Little Champ Smart School Sector – 2 Panchkula celebrated Children’s Day with full zeal and enthusiasm. Children came in party dress. Special Assembly was conducted. Raunit of Class Tiny Tots came dressed as Chacha Nehru. Aaditya (Mont – II) recited a poem on Chacha Nehru. Jerry of Class II told about the life of Pt.Jawahar Lal Nehru. Colouring competition was also organized for the Little Champs. They enjoyed party tiffin. Many fun games were also organized for the students. Winners were given prizes. Students of Nursey Class were taken to Chhat Bir Zoo for a picnic. Principal Ms Deepika said that Children are the real glitters of the world. November 14 is celebrated as Children’s Day as a tribute to Jawahar Lal Nehru. Director Mr Naresh Gupta said, “The Children of today will make India outshine with a better tomorrow . The way we bring them up will determine the future of the country.”
