Chief Secretary deputes Technical Team to assess technical glitches faced at Ludhiana Suwidha Centre

Ludhiana, October 21, 2014: In response to the news reports published in various newspapers on 21-10-2014 regarding difficulty faced by citizens on Monday at Suwidha Centre, Ludhiana. Chief Secretary, Punjab has ordered Principal Secretary, Governance Reforms to depute a technical team to visit Ludhiana and understand the problem being faced there. Accordingly a technical team of officers from Department of Governance Reforms and NIC, Punjab visited Suwidha Centre, Ludhiana.

Technical team interacted with Suwidha staff and understood the difficulty being faced by them in operating the Web Suwidha system. As the services for the system are hosted in State data Centre at Chandigarh the technical team is already working to analyze the technical glitches which occasionally occur during the peak load hours. The technical team met the Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana and assured him that all corrective and preventive measures are being taken to remove the peak load performance issues in the system and also informed that in the next two weeks the technical glitches in the system will be removed.

The technical team spent whole day in Suwidha Centre and observed that systems was functioning properly and citizens were being delivered services without any hassle.
