Chhapar mela to pave way for congress victory

Ludhiana, September 8, 2019: Ludhiana MP Ravneet Singh Bittu on Saturday took stock of the ongoing arrangements of annual conference to be held during a historical mela at village Chhapar of the district on September 13, 2019.
While addressing the gathering, Ravneet Singh Bittu said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh, a massive rally would be organised on the occasion of historical Chhapar Mela. He said that this gathering would pave way for Congress victory in the assembly by-elections.
He said that the Congress party has already started preparations for assembly by-elections. He further stated that the residents of Dakha as well as other constituencies would vote in favour of pro-development policies of the Congress government.
Taking aim at AAP MLA HS Phoolka, Bittu said that Phoolka literally deserted the electorate of Dakha constituency upon his election, forget about carrying out development in the area. He said that due to Phoolka’s poor policies, Dakha constituency lagged behind in terms of development. He said that now, the Capt Amarinder Singh led Punjab government would carry out systematic development of the constituency.
He said that the Congress party would be organising a massive rally at village Chhapar on September 13, 2019, which would be attended by several Cabinet Ministers, MPs, MLAs, besides other prominent persons of the area as well as a large number of Congress workers.
He was also accompanied by senior Congress leader Major Singh Bhaini, Zila Parishad member Gurdev Singh Lapran, District Congress Committee (Rural) president Karanjit Singh “Soni” Galib, councillor Harkaran Singh Vaid, Anand Sarup Singh Mohi, Major Singh Mullanpur, Telu Ram Bansal, Manjit Singh Hambran, Karan Warring, Kamil Boparai, Harjinder Singh Dhindsa besides several others.
