Chandigarh Style Week kicks off

Top national level designers showcase collections Panchkula: Renowned fashion designers, Sanjana Jon, AD Singh, Hari Anand, and Sakshi Bindra, who have made their mark in the fashion world are in tricity to showcase their collections in the 4th Edition of 'Chandigarh Style Week' which kicked off at Hotel Bella Vista, Sector 5, Panchkula. The organizers, designers and show stoppers interacted with media on the sidelines of the style week, to share greater details about the event. The event's show director Lavell Prabhu and brand ambassador Aprajita Sharma a well known socialite of Chandigarh also participated in the press meet. The two days fashion fiesta is being organized by Storm Fashion Company, which is India’s largest fashion week producer. Speaking on the occasion, Gaurav Sharma, CEO of Storm Fashion Company said, “It’s a style platform for designers and brands to dish out their season's offerings for the elite consumer.” The event started with a beautiful bespoke bridal collection designed by AD Singh, who hails from Mumbai and is known for his exclusive bridal designs. He showcased, A capsule collection of gowns & bridal composures that capture the journey of a diva from the red carpet to the beautiful bride to be. Drifting forward at the event, Label Sakshi Bindra presented a myriad of resort wear and evening gowns focusing on beachside weddings and festivities by the sea. In sync with the theme, the majority of the garments were lightweight and in breezy flowing texture! Sakshi said, “I have used the basic hues like black, blue, whites and red. I have also brought in some shimmer & shine with silver and gold metallic looks to add a dash of sparkle to your ensemble.” “The collection consists of beachwear garments using drapes with fabric interplay amongst lace, georgettes, and chiffons. It focuses on women of today, who are independent and exude an air of sassy confidence”, she added. Sakshi Bindra’s collection at Chandigarh Style Week was completed with a specially created hair and makeup look by Ritu Kolentine a trained Beauty professional from the US. On the second & concluding day -Dec 29, of Chandigarh Style Week, Hari Anand will present the work of the future spring summer 2020 on Organic Theories. Handmade fabrics, natural fibers and carefully handcrafted details are few of the highlights. A New York-based designer, Sanjana Jon will also be showcasing her latest collection for the season.
