Chandigarh, November 21, 2013: The battleground is set and the hunt has begun! Brace yourself to put your best foot forward as Raghu and Rannvijay have set on for the search of the next Roadie! The dynamic duo will be in Chandigarh, to select the lucky ones who will commence the Ride For Respect this year. In confluence with the theme, the auditions this year will be like never before. So fill out your audition forms and prove the gallant that you are, as gates open for auditions on 22nd November, 2013 at 9am.

This year, MTV Hero Roadies returns with a new ripping format and a new mantra. If you thought shortcuts, alliances and game-plans would be your tools for success, then think again…because this year there will be No Vote Outs, Only Performance can get you to Win. Championing the sentiments of today’s youth MTV Hero Roadies X1 will felicitate the courageous ones who will not crumble but face the challenge with zeal. Not discriminating between girls and boys, this season will see 7 boys and 7 girls fight it out to win the coveted title. The winner will be decided purely on the basis of his performance. Confidence, ambition and courage will be their biggest weapons!

Speaking about the new season, Rannvijay Singh the host of the show and first ever winner of MTV Hero Roadies says, “In the last 10 years, I have seen numerous contestants come to the show with a game plan in mind. Many a times, contestants have gone far on the show on the basis of their mind games and strategy, rather than performance. But now all that is a thing of the past. For the first time on Roadies, a winner will be selected only on his performance in every task. It definitely is going to be one exciting journey.”

Raghu Ram, the returning judge and mentor of MTV Hero Roadies, said, “The last 10 years has seen Roadies enjoy the top position when it comes to youth based reality shows. With the onset of Season X1 of Roadies we want to turn the concept around. This time the battle is solely for Respect. The eliminations will also be purely performance based while there will be no place for politics. Like they say- let the best man win!”

Audition schedule:

* The participants are expected to be of 18 years and above, who have a valid two wheeler license.
