CGC Landran lifts overall Athletic Trophy consecutively

15 Gold, 8 Silver and 10 Bronze acclaimed by CGC Landran during IKGPTU Athletic Meet at Dakha
Shubham and Shriya dominated the Men & Women Category at the IKGPTU Athletic Meet
Keeping the victory alive for the 2nd consecutive year, CGC Landran wins the overall championship in the I.K. Gujral PTU Athletic Meet Zonal & Inter Zonal in both Men and Women Category held at Guru Teg Bahadur National College Dakha, Ludhiana. 28 Players form engineering and business fields from CGC Landran bagged 15 Gold, 8 Silver and 10 Bronze in discuss throw, races, high jump, relay race, long jump, javelin, shot put and other events. Team from GNDEC Ludhiana claimed 2nd while SUS Tangori won the 3rd position in the overall category. The Men category was dominated by engineering student of CGC Landran, Shubham Rana who claimed 1st position in relay race, 2nd in 5000 mt race and 3rd in 10000 mt race. Meanwhile, The 200 Mt and 400 mt races in the women category were dominated by shriya.
Bharat Bhushan, Kartikay Manral, Shishir and Prashant claimed 1st position in the 4x100 Relay race in the men category while, in the women category Medhavi Tomar, Aman Monga, Shriya and Ashwarya won silver. Individual event, Discuss throw was won by Deepak (M)and Harleen Kaur(W) while, Shubham Rana (M) came 2nd in the 5000 Mt race. Medhavi Tomar (W) Claimed 2nd and 3rd position in discuss throw and javelin throw respectively.
