CGC Jhanjeri wins IKG PTU’s kabaddi championship

Mohali, October 13, 2019: Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri excelled in Kabaddi Championship in PTU’s Inter College Kabaddi Tournament for Men. As many as 10 colleges participated in this Tournament which was held at BCET Gurdaspur. In the first match, CGC Jhanjeri, made a clean sweep by beating BBSBEC Fatehgarh Sahib (68-22). They won semi-final match by defeating VJY Chandigarh College by (65-34). The final was played by them against the host college BCET Gurdaspur, in which CGC Jhanjeri won by (71-34). With this CGC Jhanjeri won the prestigious trophy for the year 2019-20. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC said that sports play and important role in overall personality of a student. Dr. G.D. Bansal, Director General said the students of CGC have been giving excellent performance in various Inter College Competitions organised by IKG PTU Jalandhar.
