CEO of Sagar Ratna wins the award for Best Professional in Innovation

New Delhi: The moments at Safari India South Travel Awards were those of joy and jubilation for Mr Murali Krishna Parna, the CEO of Sagar Ratna the famous South Indian restaurant chain. In the event that was held at Hotel Ashok in New Delhi, recently Mr Murali was given an award by Safari India South Asia Travel, for being the “Best Professional in Innovation”.

The event which felicitated Mr Murali was organised by Pacific Area Travel Writers Association while Safari India was the awarding authority. Safari India is a Regional Tourism magazine promoting tourism to countries like India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Pakistan. Every year the Editorial Board of Safari India selects professionals from different walks of life and awards them for their services as a token of appreciation of their efforts. This year Sagar Ratna’s CEO was from the people who were honoured with the accolade.

Speaking on the occasion Mr Murali stated that, “I dedicate this award to my hardworking and dedicated staff that has helped me to take Ratna Sagar to the heights it stands on today. Times have been thick and thin but we were able to carve out our own way in our own style. For an innovator, the innovation should not stop and this award is another milestone on our way towards a grand success.”

Speakers present at the event included Dr Mahesh Sharma - Union Minister of state for Tourism and Culture, Aananda Prasad Pokharel - Minister of Tourism, Nepal, Mr. Moosa Zameer - Minister of Tourism, Maldives, Rashed Khan Menon - Minister of Tourism, Bangladesh, Vinod Zutshi - Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India, Dilip Parulekar - Minister of Tourism, Goa, and Ashwani Lohani - Chairman, Air India.
