Ferozepur, November 8, 2012: NGOs Coordination Committee, Ferozepur in association with Sadawart Panchyat Trust, today organised 7th free Dental Check-up Camp in Central Jail, Feroepur under the supervision of Lalit Kohli, deputy superintendent.
In this camp, 102 male including 25 female jail inmates were checked by the expert dental team of Genesis Dental and Research Centre under the overall supervision of Dr. Karan Parkash Singh.
Speaking on this occasion, D. K. Sidhu, superintendent jail appreciated the efforts of the NGOs to organise dental check-up camps in the jail premises. He further said, the organising of camps in the jail helps the jail authorities in restricting the movement of inmate patients to the local civil hospital.
In the camp, free medicines were given to the patients besides assuring for follow up of certain patients in the next camp.
The camp was attended by PC Kumar, chairman, NGOs, Harish Monga, Diwan Chand Sukhija, Ashok Bajaj, Dr. V. P. Chauhan, Mangat Ram Mankatala, Krishan Lal, Sidana, Sharma and jail staff.
Jail Superintendent, deputy superintendent jail and doctors’ team was honoured by the NGOs.
