Centra Greens residents celebrate International Yoga Day with fervour

Ludhiana, June 24, 2019: Centra Greens organised a refreshing event for its residents, customers and associates on June 20, 2019 to mark the 5th International Yoga Day. The event was celebrated in open environs at the Central Park Lawn of Centra Greens. More than 50 people from all walks of life participated in the event with fervor and enthusiasm.
The programme, lasting about an hour was conducted under the supervision of Yoga expert Ashutosh Bhardwaj that included an overview of the benefits of yoga and demonstration of the important asanas and pranayam. The programme was properly arranged to spread awareness of yoga in all aspects, both for the uninitiated as well as the practitioners. Mr. Amit Bhalla, director of A&A Advisors, also participated in the yoga session along with his parents. Commenting on the importance of International Yoga Day, Mr. Amit Bhalla said, “The objective of the programme was to recognize Yoga as a holistic approach to health and wellbeing and raise awareness on the benefits of practicing yoga amongst the participants”.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Bhupinder Singh, a resident of Centra Greens, said, “Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice originated in India and one must proudly practice it every day for a healthier tomorrow” agreeing with him, Mr. Rajesh Kalra, another resident, added “Yoga can be very refreshing. I am feeling very energetic after this wonderful session and will try to make a routine of practicing the same here lawn”.
