Under the Million Fun Experiences umbrella, Vodafone U today announced the launch of ‘Vodafone U- Battle of the Bands’ in Maharashtra and Goa. This music led competition will reach out to more than 100 colleges in Maharashtra & Goa, providing aone-of-its kindplatform for youth bands to showcase their talent.
The month long competition will kick off with auditions across six cities – Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, Nagpur,Kolhapur and Goa. Shortlisted bands from each city will qualify for a Grand Finale in Pune and get a chance to perform live. In audience will bepopular musicians, celebrities and fans. The winning band will be awarded a cash prize of Rs1 Lakh along with a host of other exciting goodies.
Bands representing Colleges or independently formed, across genres can participate in the competition by filling up the registrations forms available at Vodafone stores or by sending an SMS BOB to 58888.
