Cash Deposit Machine (CDM) installed in DMCH

Ludhiana, July 5, 2017: For the convenience of the hospital and general public at large, Cash Deposit Machine, better known as CDM, was installed in Billing Department of DMCH by Punjab National Bank. The functioning of machine was formally inaugurated by Secretary of DMCH Managing Society-Sh Prem Kumar Gupta along with Medical Supdt Dr Sandeep Sharma and officials of Punjab National Bank including DGM Mr BN Mishra and AGM Mr Daljit Singh. While giving information about the functioning of machine, Mr Mishra elaborated that Cash Deposit Machine is like an ATM machine that allows you to deposit cash directly into your account, without visiting the bank. Providing of such facility will save lot of time for those hospital employees of Billing Department who everyday go to bank for daily depositing of cash collected from the patients and visitors. With this machine, any person (whether a hospital employee or outsider) can also withdraw amount from his account using PNB ATM Card as he or she should have an account with Punjab National Bank.
In addition, a cafeteria which was recently started in DMCH Cancer Care Centre was also formally inaugurated. Owner of cafeteria Mr Nitu Bajaj said that best quality snacks and food with utmost hygiene and at very economical price will be served to the people visiting DMCH Cancer Research Centre.
Mediapersons who had come for inauguration ceremony were also shown about the state-of-art machines installed in newly builtCancer Research Centre including TrueBeam: Rapid Arc machine, which is first of its kind in the region and treats cancer with ultramodern speed and very high accuracy.
