Chandigarh, July 25, 2019: The Teachers and students of Ladakh were accompanied by Capt.M.P.S.Tomar of 22 Medium Regiment.
This Capacity Building Tour was for the exposure to teachers and students about various educational Institute and Heritage sites in India under Sadbhavna.
Prof.Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh and Capt.Abhimanyu Singh Sindhu, Minister of Finance Govt. of Haryana appreciated the efforts of the Army and welcomed the Students of Nubra, Valley of Ladakh.
Dr.Monica Munjial Singh, Chairperson, Centre for Social Work, said that students visited various departments in University Campus such as Fine Arts Gallery, Museum of Gandhi Bhavan, Centre for Social Work and Sports Ground etc. Students of Social work also made them aware about the opportunities of education and the importance of Education in Life so that they can also go in for higher education.
Dr.Gaurav Gaur, Assistant Prof. appraised the said Interactive capacity building tour and Prashant Sharma, Field Supervisor coordinated the Tour.
