Chandigarh, February 17, 2016: Considering the ongoing anti-national campaign by the students of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Delhi, The Forum for Awareness on National Security (FANS) took out a candle march in Sector-17 on Wednesday evening. The march took place from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the Plaza with many participants and onlookers.
L.M. Goel, President (Chandigarh Chapter) along with Raj Kishore & Pradeep Bansal, General Secretary FANS, lead the march. They said that the anti-national slogans by the ‘so called’ intellectual students of the JNU will not be tolerated and we condemn the act in this non-violent way.
Smt. Reshma H. Singh, National President and In-charge (North India), Shashi Sharma, Vice President and Sectrary Dr Sheenu Aggarwal, Dr. Sawriya, Anand Singla, Prof Salil Bansal, Lokesh Jain, Sushil aggarwal, K.S Bhatnagar, Col I. P Singh, Mandeep Khaira, Deepak Sharma, Dr Nisha Sahi, Sanjay Puri were also present during the candle march. The public supporting the march seemed upset with this childish act of JNU students and said that it wasn’t expected by the students of such reputed educational institution.
