Campaign on “road safety and security”

Jalandhar, December 6, 2019: Ivy World School under the ageis of Vasal Education Society organized a campaign on "Road safety and security". This campaign was conducted by ASI Sardar Shamsher Singh (Incharge Traffic Police Education Cell) under the guidance and direction of Sh.Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, Commissioner of police, Sh.Gagnesh Kumar, ADCP and Sh.Narindra Dogra, DCP Traffic. The purpose of the campaign was to familiarize the students with “motor vehicle act and traffic rules”. Sardar Shamsher made students aware about the fact that every year in our country near about one lakh and fifty thousand people lose their lives due to road accident. Lakhs and lakhs of people become disabled due to recklessness shown while not properly following traffic rules. The main cause for all the pain and loss of life is the fast and furious driving by the people. The main reason behind spreading traffic rule awareness is to make people realise the loss, with their ignorance to traffic rule. The Principal Mrs S Chauhan also shared her virws and said that "It is neccesary that everyone should follow traffic rules. All those rebels who don’t care to follow the rules are in constant danger. It is our moral duty to follow road safety rules." The President of Vasal education Society, Shri K K Vasal, the Chairman, Mr.Sanjeev Kumar Vasal, the Director Mrs. Ena Vasal and the CEO Mr.Raghav Vasal applauded the efforts and said that this interactive session for creating traffic awareness among students was very important as it makes them aware about the importance of human life. Students should come forward to create awareness about following traffic rules.
