Jalandhar, August 10, 2015: A three day Cambridge International School Model United Nations Conference was concluded on Sunday in Cambridge International School for Girls.
CISMUN gives hope that all young people will have every opportunity to participate fully in the lives of their societies. It provides the youth a platform to voice their opinions by forwarding their drafted resolutions to the United Nations. With India touted to be one of the leading candidates to become the next super power, there has never been more need for young leaders. So exposure to such platforms will give rein in the hand of Indian youth as well to play an active role in bringing a change for a better future and world. In three day CISMUN conference students did intricate research in different committees such as AIPPM, IWC, UNDCP,LEGAL,DISEC, ADHOC CRISIS, ECOFIN, IP,SPECPOL,SOCHUM,UNHRC,UNSC, IPL, CRISIS. Students carried the discussions in the respective committees and resolutions were taken.
Award ceremony to acknowledge the accomplishment of achievers was carried by Executive Board. Exhilarating performances by the students spell bounded the audience. Finally the conference was closed by Shanjeet, Secretary General. Chairman Learning Wing Education System, Mr Ajay Bhatia, Deputy Chairman Learning Wing Education System, Mr. Deepak Bhatia, Director Learning Wings Mr. J. K Kohli, Mr. Nitin Kohli , Academic Director Ms Deepa Dogra were present on this occasion and they all appreciated the efforts made by CISMUN.Yashuti Sharma, Director General and Sanat, Deputy Secretary General of CISMUN were highly applauded for being the torch bearers in bringing up the leadership qualities to wake and stir the youth of the Nation.
