Cambridge International Foundation School celebrates Dussehra festival

Jalandhar: “The battle line between good and evil runs through the heart of every man”, says Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. Keeping the festive fervour, Cambridge International Foundation School celebrated the Dussehra festival on 10th October. The event commenced with a poem dedicated to the CHANGE needed to make the world a better place by removing evil and advocating good. It was followed by speech earmarking the importance of the festival and the ways to celebrate it. The learners presented a short act depicting the intellectual abilities of Ravana and how they should be put to constructive use. The hymns added to the devotional ambience making the audience rejoice to the rhythm of Raghupati Raghav.
The Kindergarteners understood the significance of this day through special celebrations. The effigies of Ravana, Kumbhkaran and Meghnath were set up in the school ground for the occasion. They presented an eye catchy view. The excitement and the awe of wonder on the little faces added the spark to the grand event.
The entire team of Cambridge that includes Chairman Mr Ajay Bhatia, Deputy Chairman Mr. Deepak Bhatia, Mr Nitin Kohli and the Academic Director Ms. Deepa Dogra has always stressed the importance of celebration of festivals in the lives of young ones. Principal Mr. Stanley Anthony addressed the gathering extending message of harmony and tolerance followed by wishes on behalf of the management.
