Cambridge English has partnered with Edify Education to enhance English language skills of students and teachers across India

Chennai: Cambridge Assessment English, a department of University of Cambridge has announced its partnership with MDN Edify Education Private Limited in India. This joint initiative is one of the major engagements in Indian education sector which will benefit lakhs of students and teachers.
Mr.Liam Vint, Deputy Director - Global Network, Cambridge Assessment English, Italy and Ms.Kavitha Jain, CEO, MDN Edify Education Private Limited has signed a MoU to enhance the English language skills of the students and teachers across India.
Cambridge Assessment English is a not-for-profit department of the University of Cambridge. It exists to help people learn English and prove their skills to the world. Each year, Cambridge English provides English language exams and tests for more than five million people in 130 countries.
MDN Edify Education Pvt Ltd., known for excellence in education, has trained 2,00,000 teachers, 30,000 principals and 4 million students across India till date. The organisation runs pre-primary, primary, secondary and higher secondary education institutes in various states of India.
At present, English is learnt as a subject and not as a skill. For an individual who is interested in acquiring language skills, not many language centers are available in India. To fill this gap, Edify Education has collaborated with Cambridge Assessment English. Edify education will identify partners in remote areas who in turn will train students in language skills and will provide support for the curriculum, methodology and training along with Cambridge Assessment English.
