Jalandhar, September 26, 2019: Cadet Tanveer Singh, Air Wing, NCC, Lyallpur Khalsa College has brought laurels to the college by becoming the only cadet from the entire state of Punjab to be selected under Youth Exchange Program of National Cadet Corps (NCC).
College Principal Dr.Gurpinder Singh Samra congratulated the student and informed that cadets with excellent performances on Republic Day Camp are selected for this program organized by Department of Youth affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India.
Principal Dr.Samra along Jaspal Singh Waraich, Joint Secretary, Governing Council congratulated the College NCC Air wing Unit lead by Prof.Manpreet Singh Lehal and their lauded collective efforts that have lead to the college’s participation in the vibrant Youth Exchange Program with 11 countries. The procedure of the Youth Exchange Scheme will see cadets participate in various activities of the host country and learn about their culture, seek avenues of increased cooperation between countries as well as gain key insights which can be implemented in India for the welfare of the general public, industries, workplace or economy.
