Cabinet Minster advises administration to give heed to poor and needy

Ferozepur, July 10, 2014: Gulzar Singh Ranike, Cabinet Minister, Punjab, was here today to convene a meeting regarding newly constructed District-level Grievance Redressal Committee. Besides Government Officials, a number of representatives from various Panchayats and Political Parties also participated in the meeting. 

Defining the state government’s motive behind the construction of these kinds of committees, he said, the motive is to provide justice to the needy and poor, at easy cost, within a short span of time. He instructed the members of the committee to give a heed to the poor people and act as a mediator between government and the poor strata.

He further said in today’s meeting, twenty issues were demarcated in the agenda, out of which twelve have been sorted out.

The Cabinet Minister also passed strict instructions to DM Roadways to ensure the entrance of all the buses to City Bus Stand.
