Ludhiana, September 17, 2014: Bureau of Indian Standard conducted a seminar on Product Certification by Standardisation & Ensuring Quality. By Standardisation of the product goodwill is created hence a good marketing tool by giving trust to the buyer of the product. BIS is also in the quality system certification ISO 9001, environmental management system certification ISO 14001, hazard analysis and critical control points ISO 15000 that is to ensure high quality if food safety.
In the seminar H.S Pasricha Scientist, A.K. Saini Deputy Director General, Deepak Jain, Head Northern Regional office & J.M. Khanna Scientist elaborated the task of Standardisation, Certification, quality that ensures that every Customer get protected and receives the best product from the Manufacturer.
K.K. Seth, chairman, FICO emphasised to get the products certified from BIS so that the quality of the product is standardised & customer is protected & in turn business of the manufacturer remain safe.
Gurmeet Singh Kular demanded that from BIS every approval should be time bound because sometimes it lingers to multiple months.
