BSNL Unions and Associations held day-long dharna infront of office of GMT

Ludhiana, September 23, 2014: Members of Joint action committee of BSNL Unions and Associations held a day long dharna in front Hof the office of GMT Ludhiana on the call of its Central headquarters for the settlement of long pending staff issues. During the lunch hour massive demonstration was also held.
Addressing the gathering Com Balwinder Singh Convenor of Joint Action committee Ludhiana told that the non executive employees are facing several problems since a long time and their unions have made all out efforts to settle the issues round the table, but the attitude of management is very indifferent and adamant. Regular Mazdoors of BSNL have reached on stagnation and are debarred from annual increment, hence facing financial loss since a long time. The salary of the direct recruited employees is reduced since the time of wage revision in 2007.Discrepencies in non executive promotion policy, are not being settled. Leave travel concession, fixed medical allowance is freezed. The wards of deceased employees are not getting job on compassionate grounds. They demanded immediate settlement of the issues of the non executive. They also declared that if the issues are not settled they will observe two hours walk out on September 30,2014, followed by one day strike in the month of November 2014 as per the decision of nation JAC.

Singh, Pritam Chand,  Amarjit Chander, , District Treasurer, Surinder Singh Assistant treasurer, Jaswant Singh, Sudesh Joshi, Prem Singh, Avtar Singh, Mohinder Singh. Madan Lal, Surjit Singh Raikot, Surjit Singh, GUrmukh Singh Samrala, Sohan Singh Khanna, Narinder Singh Doraha, Inderdeep Singh Dholewal , Ganagndeep Singh, Rajinderpal Jakhu Barewal, Amrik Singh, Satpal Singh and Gulzar Singh .
