BSF recovers hidden store of weapons on Indo-Pak border

Ferozepur, October 27, 2012:  The sentinels of Border Security Force (BSF) are active in keeping a vigil on the Indo-Pak border and were successful in recovering two foreign made pistol and live cartridges. On Thursday-Friday night, BSF jawans, two revolvers of Pakistan and China made 82 live cartridges.

According to Arun Kumar Dahiya, Commandant, 45 Bn BSF said, on a tip-off, a search operation was launched by the BSF jawans in wee hours on Thursday and recovered the hidden store of weapons dumped on the earth, from the area in the alignment of border pillar No.133/20 between the Zero Line and the cobra fencing near border outpost Kalsian.

He further said, after taking into possession, the arms and ammunition, an investigation has been initiated to know as to whom this consignment was to be passed on, in India and where these were further to be delivered.
