Jalandhar, August 17, 2012: A Border Security Force inspector (Retd) identified as Daljit Singh (70) was shot dead by unidentified assailants on the Jalandhar – Pathankot Road here this morning.
The incident occurred near Kahanpur village.
The deceased was on his way in his car. When ce came out of his vehicle he was assaulted.
Maksudan Police have started investigations.
