Jalandhar, July 6, 2015: Opposites may attract, but when like-minded people come together, they tend to come up with something truly amazing. Yasir Zahoor Rather and Sanil Gupta, students of CT Institute of Engineering, Management & Technology (CTIEMT) combined their skills and came up with a digital marketing company, adGati. Not ones to take things slow, they have also come up with a new online venture focusing on sports goods- Sporting Cart.

The students have brought laurels for their academic institutions, families and peers, three companies has been started by the four student entrepreneurs of CT Group of Institutions this year under Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC).  The other duo is Shubham Rajput and Surbhi Mahendru, they have started their own business venture in Online and Digital Marketing sector with Adair at Jharkhand.

B.Tech (CSE) passed out Sanil Gupta said, “We were the part of Entrepreneurship awareness camp which was held in CT Group of Institutions which was very helpful for us in channelizing their energy into the right direction. With the great support from the Institution they were able to create wonders in their field. The driving force behind their never stopping attitude is none other than the integral part of their institutions.

Dr. Manoj Kumar (Group Director, CT Institutions) said, “The basic aim of E-Cell is to encourage students today to start their own enterprise. This, it does by the following means: organizing Workshops and Lectures periodically to create awareness about entrepreneurship, functioning as a guide for students with creative ideas which can be transformed into successful companies, providing mentorship through individuals for students launching their start-ups and others.”

S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) blessed them with good wishes for their bright future. He said, “Our basic motto to set a podium for our students to excel in their desired field. Under EDC, we will make sure to provide best of the training program and services to our students.”
