Brahmpura jubilant over DSGMC poll results

Amritsar, March 2, 2017: M.P from Khadoor Sahib, Ranjit Singh Brahmpura in a public meeting addressed the public here and said that Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) elections have been won by Shrimoni Akali Dal and hopefully expected that Punjab assembly elections will also be won by Shrimoni Akali Dal as like DSGMC and it is a trailer of the whole episode for Punjab assembly elections result.

Brahmpura said, Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) elections proved that the Sikh community in Delhi was with the SAD and appreciated its work and DSGMC president Manjit Singh GK and senior leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa were among the winners.

He added, “Shiromani Akali Dal (Delhi) president Paramjit Singh Sarna, supported by the Congress, was among the prominent losers. He lost to Sirsa for the Punjabi Bagh seat.”

“AAP tried its best to prop up its own organisation and formed the Panthic Sewa Dal to put up candidates. They even levelled allegations against the SAD. However, the results show that the Delhi Sikh electorates are completely disillusioned with the AAP and its performance and it was a proof of complete rejection of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress by the Sikh community”, he said.

Brahmpura assured the electorate that the SAD would fulfill all the promises made to them and DSGMC will work with even more vigour for the welfare of the community.
