BRADO interacted with UNIDO Team regarding upgradation of Research & Development Center for Bicycle Industry

Ludhiana, September 2, 2017: Today Team of United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Comprising Mr. Jan Haraldsen (Associated Partner), Impello Management USA & Ms. Shraddha Srikant (Project Assistant) International Centre for Inclusive & Sustainable Industrial Development (UNIDO-IC-ISID) met S.Onkar Singh Pahwa Chairman Bicycle Research & Development Organization (BRADO) along with S.Manjinder Singh Sachdeva President & Gurmeet Singh Kular General Secretary regarding the upgradation of Research & Development Centers to meet future prospective of Bicycle Industry.
As India is the second largest manufacturer of Bicycle & Bicycle Parts in the world, after China, but in India we are into the manufacturing of Roadster Bicycle commonly known as Black Cycle, whose future prospective are almost zero. Future of Bicycle Industry are Hi-End Bicycles which will be using Aluminum Alloy Frame, Aluminum Alloy Forks, Aluminum Alloy Rims, BB Cassettes, derailleur, etc. these parts are not being manufactured in our country, neither we have research & development centers capable enough to research & implement on the said modern technology. So, in order to keep ourselves up-to-date we have to adapt the modern technology and start working on high end bicycle and high end bicycle parts of Aluminum Alloy, Carbon Steel Etc.
In September a 40 Members delegation of FICO is going to USA to attend Interbike to be held from 20 to 22 September 2017 & Explore opportunities in USA especially for Bicycle industry.
BRADO will Research & Develop high end Products to meet the International demand.
