Chandigarh, September 14, 2015: The Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College (BPSGMC) for Women, Sonepat has topped with 96 per cent in the result of MBBS (first profession) recently declared by Pt.B.D.Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. Neha, student of the BPSGMC has topped in the university by securing 76 per cent.
Haryana Health Minister Mr Anil Vij congratulated the topper of the exam, Neha and others for their outstanding performance. He said that in future also this college would give tough competition to other colleges and improve the level of education.
Giving information in this regard, Director, BPS Government Medical College for Women, Dr R. C. Siwach said that the first five positions have also been secured by the girls of BPSGMC, Sonepat. Not only this, nine students of the college have secured more than 70 per cent and about 65 per cent of students have secured more than 60 per cent marks, he added. / (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
