Ferozepur, February 22, 2014: The Lakho Ke Behram Police has registered a case on some identified prowlers who tried to cut down Punjab and Sind Bank ATM here with the help of gas cutters.
According to the information provided by the security guard Ravi Kumar, around half a dozen prowlers, covering their faces, attacked the guard and tried to damage the CCTV cameras after leaving the guard unconscious. After that they attempted to cut down the ATM with the help of Gas Cutting Machine which went in vain. After trying around one hour, the prowlers left the ATM.
The Bank Manager Raj Kumar informed that there were around six lakh cash lying in the ATM Machine. Though the intruders tried to damage the CCTVs, the bank has handed over the footage to the police.
