Book titled `550 Gems of Spiritual Wisdom from the banis of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji’ released

Ludhiana, November 9, 2019: To mark the 550th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, a book release function and a seminar to discuss the pious ‘bani’ of the First Guru was organised at Ramgarhia Girls College. The function was organized to unveil the book authored by the renowned Business tycoon and President of Ramgarhia Educational Council, S.Ranjodh Singh namely ‘550 Gems of Spiritual Wisdom from the banis of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji’. The program started at 11 am at Baba Gurmukh Singh Hall of the college. Padam Bhushan award winner the noted economist S.Sardara Singh Johal (Chancellor, Central University of Punjab, Bathinda) was the Chief Guest of the function. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Inderjit Kaur and S. Ranjodh Singh accorded a hearty welcome to the eminent Guests. The Chief Guest released the book and the hall was buzzing with readers, friends and family of the author. Among the esteemed guests who expressed their views in the seminar were Dr. Anurag Singh, Sikh Thinker, Maulana Muhamad- Usman Ludhianvi, Naib Shahi Imam, Punjab, Dr. Piyara Lal Garg, Educationalist and Principal Mrs. Harmit Kaur, Educationalist, S. Bhupinder Singh Holland. S. Nirmal Jaura also presented his views saying that he is feeling fortunate to be a part of this incredible event where he is getting a chance to witness the ideas of such well known personalities about Baba Nanak. S. Sardara Singh Johal appreciated the efforts of S. Ranjodh Singh that he dedicated his work to Guru Nanak Dev on his 550th birth anniversary. The author said that he had been extensive elaborate on the life and teachings of Sri Guru Nanak and the book is available in Punjabi and English. Principal Dr. Inderjit Kaur considered it to be a great effort on the part of the writer to have written such great work that would inspire every individual. Principal Mrs. Harmit Kaur felt overwhelmed on the occasion and asserted that such sort of functions must be held regularly because the ideas expressed via the medium of the book or seminar would motivate everyone to learn the great teachings.
