Book on Sachkhand Sri Harimandir Sahib presented to Police Commissioner

Ludhiana, December 24, 2018: In celebration of 550th Birth Anniversary of the first guru, Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, industrialist -writer Ranjodh Singh gifted his pictorial book ‘Sri Harimandir Sahib’ to Dr.Sukhchain Singh Gill, I.P.S., Commissioner of Police ,Ludhiana. This book is the first of its kind with text in English , Hindi and Punjabi, and an extended version in French , Spanish and Dutch. The photography of this holy structure has been done with love at all the hours of the day and night to capture the play of light on the majestic Golden Temple. The writer talked about his labour of love to Dr. Sukhchain Singh Gill and confessed that this holy journey of writing a book on the holiest shrine of the Sikhs was an endeavour to bring the history of this living monument to the people of the World through different languages. The message of Baba Nanak of oneness of the Lord and Universal brotherhood is of vital importance in the strife-torn times that we are going through. On his visit, Ranjodh Singh was accompanied by Senior Congress Leader, Amarjit Singh Tikka and young entrepreneur Jaskaran Singh.
