Blue Bells Model School Organises ‘Unwrapping Learning Packages’ –Chapter 2018-19

Gurugram: Blue Bells Model School, Sector 04 recently organized ‘Unwrapping Learning Packages’ 2018-19’ at its premises. It was an academic carnival consisting of a number of activities where primary wing students showcased their creativity with their active participation. The event consisted hands on experiments, Robotics presentation, THOTS, Physical Education games, performing arts comprising of Book Parade, Nukkad Natak(Street Play), Traffic Park, live singing and dance by the students added beauty to the event. The event was conceptualized by the Learning and Development Centre ‘The Learning Space’ under the skillful guidance of Ms. Soumya Gulati - Deputy Director Academic Development and Innovation, BBGS. Parents engaged themselves in the event and appreciated the Learning Progression and Thematic Trans disciplinary Approach. All the domains of learning were interwoven with the themes- ‘Governing Ourselves and Diversity in the Living World’. The Health & Wellness Team under the guidance of Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director (Health & Wellness), BBGS created an impressive display- ‘Elixir: Find Your Essence’, Value Education through School Cinema and Awareness on Safe Touch through aesthetically designed display boards. THOTS corner included thinking games like ‘Triviu, Honeycomb, Astromania, Flip and Flop, Intercept and Stack the Muffins’, which were conducted by specially trained students. The corner added a Midas touch to the event by showcasing a thoughtful mindset. The parents were mesmerized by the presentation given by the students and earnestly participated in the activities and games. The ICT corner displayed a myriad of activities for the parents, under the guidance of Ms. Anshuka Aneja - Deputy Director IT, BBGS. These activities involved active participation of parents. The students explained about Tux Paint drawing tools and Scratch games. Parents were also quizzed on the precautionary measures for Cyber Safety. All were spell bound by the football tactics of ‘Robby Bonny’- The Robot.
