Electric Loco Shed Northern Railway Ludhiana celebrates Independence Day by donating 62 units of blood on Wednesday.
Ludhiana, August 14, 2013: Electric Loco Shed Northern Railway Ludhiana celebrated Independence Day by donating 62 units of blood.
The event was conducted in association with Salaam Zindagi Foundation. Team of Red Cross led by Dr. GP Mangla arranged to collect the donations.
The camp was inaugurated by Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer Anurag Aggarwal. These blood donation camps which are being conducted by Salaam Zindagi Foundation for the help of Thalassemic Patients who are really of great importance and in future more number of such camps should be organised to fight with Thalassemiea.
Labh Singh CA to Sr. DEE/TRS put a huge effort in motivating the donors and making this event and great success.
Manjit Saini, President, Salaam Zindagi Foundation thanked the organisers and the volunteers of Electric Loco Shed.
Present among this occasion were Anurag Kalhan, Kewal, Mandeep Rawat, Rashpal, Sandeep Surjan, Parveen Bhardwaj, Amit Datta and Jagjit, Gulshan.
