Blood donation camp at Cambridge International School

Jalandhar, October 20, 2014: Cambridge International School, Jalandhar organised a blood camp at Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences(PIMS) on Monday. Pamphlets were distributed among the students  above 18 years age and all the employees including the staff members, maids, drivers with weight more than 45kgs,who have not suffered from any disease in the past three months were motivated to donate blood with the thought that donation of blood means a few minutes to them but a lifetime for somebody else.

All the branches of Cambridge School –Phagwara, Nawanshahr, Kapurthala, Cambridge International Foundation School, Cambridge International School for Girls and CIS, Chotti Baradari, Jalandhar joined the venture and took a brave step in which students, staff members along with their family members donated blood which would be of great help to many patients who need blood.

The step taken came out to be a perfect event as blood was donated under the supervision of the PIMS Staff. Donors were really appreciated for their kind and brave step and everyone understood that donating blood is not a complicated thing or does not lead to any complications later in the life, in-fact it really helps people in need and also has positive effects on our own health. It is a form of compassion, as well as way to get in the life of our community.

Chairman Ajay Bhatia, Deputy Chairman Deepak Bhatia, Director Learning Wings J.K.Kohli, Nitin Kohli, Academic Director Deepa Dogra and Principal Kiranjoth Dhillon congratulated children and the school employees for all the marvelous efforts made by them for a noble cause.
