Chandigarh, January 7, 2019: A Minority Conference was organized at the Panchayat Ghar, Sector 45, Chandigarh on behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party Minority Morcha. The Chief Guest of the program was Sanjay Tandon, State President of Chandigarh.

Speaking at the conference, Shadab Rathi of BJP Minority Front said that a Learn and Earn scheme has been implemented for the youth by the Ministry of Minority Affairs. All the people should be united while availing the public welfare schemes of the government. There are specially many beneficial schemes for the minority community.

The Chairman of the BJP Minority Morcha, Amjad Chaudhary demanded that the reservation of minority seats should be ensured. A large number of minorities are present in Chandigarh, and land should be allotted for them to open a school, a minority commission should be formed and separate mosques and churches should be arranged.

Sanjay Tandon said that BJP has done good work after coming into power in 2014, which was stalled during the Congress rule from 2004 to 2014. Our government banned black money. The BJP always works in the interests of the soldiers, while Congress had doubtful dealing. He would convey the demands of the minorities to the higher level, and they would try to ensure that most of the demands were fulfilled, he added.

Among those present at the program included Kanwar Rana, Ward Councilor, Anil Mashi, Anwar Siddiqui, Ishkhar Ahmed, Raza Khan, Najma Khan and Salman Salmani among various others.
