Ludhiana, January 4, 2018: Students of CMC Ludhiana have performed extremely well at the examinations of final professional MBBS, the results of which were declared by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences recently. Bhumika obtained the first position in the University scoring a total of 682 marks while Madhurima Barikand Kripa Anna Varghese bagged fourth and fifth position by scoring 641 and 638 marks respectively. In addition, Madhurima obtained a distinction in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Bhumika has done her schooling from Chandigarh and attributes her success to group study and discussion undertaken on a regular basis. She also feels that correlating the theoretical knowledge with what is seen in the clinical side helped to understand the diseases better.Madhurima has done her schooling from Balangir, Odisha. She has been a regular in studies and feels that practicals helped her to cover the syllabus meaningfully. Kripa, who is from Thiruvala, Kerala feels that though she learnt from the books, the knowledge acquired during clinical postings helped her in better understanding. Bhumika aspires for a career in medicine; Madhurima wants Pediatrics while Kripa is aiming to become an Obstetrician.
Dr.Tejinder Singh, Principal of the College and Dr. Abraham G Thomas, Director along with all faculty congratulated all the students for their devoted commitment to studies.
