Bharti Foundation hosts International Kids Film Festival (IKFF) for more than 18,000 children across 9 states.

New Delhi, November 23, 2018, Bharti Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Bharti Enterprises along with LXL Ideas hosts International Kids Film Festival for more than 18,000 students in the rural parts of Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi, Assam, J&K, Telangana, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

The initiative is a unique opportunity for students, parents and other village community members, who are often missed out to be part of such film festivals. The festival will screen over 100 specially curated, meaningful and diverse children's films from over 25 countries which aim to educate, entertain and inspire students, exploring value based themes such as friendships, compassion, peer relationships, patriotism etc.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Mamta Saikia, COO, Bharti Foundation said, “We are pleased to host the IKFFI in Satya Bharti Schools and Government schools in villages across the 9 states. Films have always been a great source of learning and this fun filled cinematic experience fits in our holistic education approach, designed around the rural context.”

IKFF 2018 is world’s largest children’s film festival hosted by schools for more than 2 million children across 20 countries. This unique film festival provides an opportunity for students to watch the best of international children’s films. It also provides an opportunity for the children to learn from film-making master classes & make films to participate in the world’s largest film-making competition.
