MAKING PUNJAB HAPPY & HEALTHY DEMAND OF TIME: HARJIT SINGH GREWAL Ludhiana, March 11, 2019: Dedicated to 550 year celebrations of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Bhai Ghanaiya Ji Charitable Trust, Punjabi Cultural Council and Public Sewa Society Panthi Dera Baddowal today started the campaign to plant 550 tree saplings each in 101 villages of the state. This campaign was started by organising a function at village Bhanohar of the district, in which Punjabi Cultural Council Chairman and Deputy Director, Information & Public Relations Department Punjab Mr Harjit Singh Grewal was the chief guest, while Bhai Ghanaiya Ji Charitable Trust chief Sant Baba Jaspal Singh Baddowal was the guest of honour. Bhai Ghanaiya Ji Charitable Trust and Public Sewa Society Panthi Dera Baddowal, in collaboration with ITBP 26th Battalion has been organising cleanliness and plantation drives in villages. While speaking on the occasion, Mr Harjit Singh Grewal urged the residents to come forward and contribute in saving our environment. He said that making our state happy and healthy is need of the hour and everyone should contribute in it. He informed that 550 tree saplings each in 101 villages of the state would be planted.
