Bestech Square Mall's Christmas kids carnival concludes with masks making workshop

Mohali, December 25, 2018: The ten day Christmas fiesta - Christmas kids carnival at Bestech Square Mall, Mohali, concluded with an innovative workshop for children on 'masks making'.

The Christmas extravaganza at the mall focused on making children aware about Christmas culture and facets associated with the festival. The aim was to let children and others know about aspects like décor related to the colourful festival. The children were engaged in workshops to make them learn hands on how to create things like Xmas wreaths, Xmas tree hangers, Xmas tree ornaments, gingerbread Xmas ornaments etc.

"We organised different & unique certified workshops for children to make Christmas celebration both a fun and a learning experience for them. Apart from Christmas tree decoration workshops, there was a clay making workshop held and the festival's final day witnessed a masks making workshop for children. All participants were given a certificate of successful completion of workshop." Said Manish Bhatia , Mall Manager, Bestech Square Mall.

"The masks making workshop was really fun. We were told how to choose materials and also make beautiful masks using these. We ourselves created different masks and learnt a lot about the unique items of Xmas tree decor at the workshop today." Said Ritika, a school girl who attended the masks making workshop.

It is pertinent to mention that thousands of school children visited Bestech Square Mall over the period of the carnival. Manav Rachna International School, Mohali and Kids R Kids, Sec 42, Chandigarh were some of the schools that sent their children to the mall to learn and create items used to deck up Xmas trees. Kids R Kids students performed a tap dance with a very pertinent message of the need to protect environment .

Children were also taught the art of gift wrapping and developing Christmas greetings.The yuletide spirit could be felt all around when young children sang some very hummable Xmas carols. The Xmas extravaganza was different at Bestech as kids got trained in unique Christmas art forms and utilised their time to do constructive things connected to the spirit of the festivity.
