BEEKEEPERS GET TRAINING AT PAU

Ludhiana, June 7, 2017: About 75 progressive beekeepers participated in the state level training-cum-workshop, organized at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) today. The programme was conducted by Progressive Beekeepers Association (PBKA) under the auspices of Directorate of Extension Education, PAU.

S.Simranjeet Singh, President of PBKA, interacted with the beekeepers and exhorted them to motivate fellow farmers and rural youth to adopt beekeeping as a profitable occupation.

Dr T.S.Riar, Coordinator of PBKA, welcomed the resource person, members of PBKA and presented the review of association’s activities.

A food science technology expert delivered a talk on value addition to honey.
