BE aware of fake recruitments on name of kisan call centre

Chandigarh, July 12, 2013: Punjab Government has issued an alert to public regarding fraud on the name of Kisan Call Centre and other fake Government Offices/Institutes.

While disclosing this here today Dr. Mangal Singh Sandhu has conveyed his message that if someone received a call from any company/agency regarding offering job which demands money for security/laptop then immediately inform Chief Agriculture Officer of your district.

Dr. Sandhu also emphasised that such issue may also be brought in notice of Administration and Police Department of an area.

He suggested that before applying and to deposit money against any vacancy, everyone is required to personally seek advice and authenticate the details with respective Govt. Department.  

Director Agriculture also intimated that for information applicant/person can contact Directorate Agriculture during working hours on phone number 0172-5000091, 2601864 (9.00 morning -5.00 evening Monday- Friday)  .

Dr. M.S. Sandhu also briefed that Govt. Departments never demand money on the name of Security/Laptop. He also pointed that in Punjab State Kisan Call Centre is run by IFFCO Kisan Sanchar Limited (IKSL) and Govt. of India has recognised IKSL to recruit manpower in Kisan Call Centre. No other Agency/Institute has authority to recruit manpower in Kisan Call Centre.

Dr. Sandhu highlighted that so many complaints are being received regarding fake agencies/institutes are doing fraudulent practices by looting money from 10th or 12th standard educated candidates on the name of jobs in Kisan Call Centre and other bogus offices. Initially these suspicious agencies attracts unemployed youth by offering salary of rupees 15,000-20,000 and then they demand Rs. 15,000 as refundable advance money against security/laptop. Sometimes Rs.1000 are also demanded to send application form simply. These illegal organisations are frequently changing their names as Bharti Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kisan Helpline Services and Kisan Seva Kendra etc. and doing fraud with people. Some are also publishing their advertisements through newspapers /internet whereas others are doing these illegal activities through telephone and mobiles.

Dr. M.S.Sandhu,Director Agriculture, Punjab humbly appealed public of State to remain awake regarding this type of fraud on the name of fake recruitments.
