BANSAL DEMANDED PAYMENT OF LTAs FOR JULY 2017 & JANUARY 2018 IN GENERAL BODY MEETING OF ASSOCIATION

LUDHIANA, February 14, 2018: Today a general body meeting of PAU Retirees' Welfare Association (Regd.) held in the PAU Students' Home Seminar Room. About 150 retirees attended the meeting. Sh.Jila Ram Bansal, President presided over the meeting. Sh.Charanjit Singh Grewal, Senior Vice President conducted the stage efficiently.

With earnest efforts of Saravshree Ajit Singh Cheema, Sr. Vice President, Labh Singh Vice President, Nitya Nand 25 members of the Association enrolled : Saravshree Abhinash Sharma AEO, T.R.Prashar, AAO, Som Singh Rana PA, Balbir Singh Driver, Balwinder Singh Field Worker, Lal Singh Sr.Asstt., Raj Kumar Sr.Asstt., Amrik Singh Grewal PMO, Jagmohan Singh, TMO, Subhash Chander ASI, Harnek Singh Stenographer, Balwant Singh PA were honoured with garlands who were recently retired.

Sh. N.K. Chitkara, Chief Manager, State Bank of India, PAU, addressed the retirees with a question-answer session. He readdressed the grievances and difficulties faced by the retirees on the spot. He also requested the retirees to get insured against medical exigencies.

Sh. Jila Ram Bansal, President told that most of the pending cases of Junior-Senior, Medical Bills have been cleared in the Comptroller Office. Bansal told that soon they will meet the authorities for getting the required revised seniority list of Minister Staff circulated. For starting the Suvida Centre effectively and also to cover retirees who opted for CPF "under the pension scheme" as per the guidelines of the Hon'ble Court, payment of remaining leave travelling allowance for July 2017 and January 2018 is expected upto the month of March 2018. Mr. Bansal also told that the PAU Post Office had no proper sitting arrangement particularly for the Senior Citizens/Retirees for which necessary steps will be taken with the higher authority. He further told that E-Lobby outside the State Bank, PAU branch had since been started for 24 hrs with cheque book printing machine, cash depositing machine, cash transfer entry machine, cheque book depositing machine and ATM etc.
