Baisakhi Carnival at Bcm School, Dugri

Ludhiana, April 15, 2015: Festivals bring joy and happiness. Baisakhi is the most famous harvest festival of Punjab that has religious value as well. Keeping this in mind, the young BCMites of BCM School, Dugri have celebrated this day with great fervor on Monday. Being the first festive celebration, the school has arranged various activities such as creative art, recitation, dance, etc. With the speech in the morning assembly to the dance party by the tiny tots, whole day was dedicated to the celebrations. The school Principal Dr. Vandna Shahi has appreciated as well as encouraged the students to enjoy and respect all the festivals. She also spoke about our great reformer Dr. B. R. Ambedkar whose birthday is marked on April 14, as Ambedkar Jayanti.
