Chandigarh, July 4, 2017: Lok Insaaf Party MLAs Simarjit Singh Bains and Balwinder Singh Bains today announced to extend their support to the NDA's cabdidate Ram Nath Vovind in Presidential elections.
BJP Punjab president Vijay Sampla has welcomed the move and thanked Bains Brothers.
Sampla said Bains Brothers had taken this stand above the party politics and this stand of Bains Brothers was "appreciable".
It may be mentioned here that Sampla on Tuesday went to the residence of Bains Brothers following which Bains Brothers made the announcement to support Kovind.
