Bahader Singh Grewal to head Punjab Cultural Society in Las Vegas
Ludhiana, April 26, 2019: Punjab Cultural Society appointed Bahader Singh Grewal as the president of Las Vegas (USA) branch during a function held at Ludhiana on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, society chairman Jagpal Singh Khangura said that Punjab Cultural Society has made a big contribution in promoting Punjabi Culture all across the globe. The society was started with an aim to spread awareness among NRI Punjabis to keep them connected with their roots. “The society is successful in achieving the aim and to keep up with our goal we are appointing Grewal, an active social worker, to head the branch of Las Vegas,” he said. Society’s founder and president Ravinder Singh Rangowal said that the apart from focusing on NRI Punjabis, the society also work to keep the youngsters of the state fit by organising cultural as well as sports activities. These activities also contribute in keeping the youth away from drugs and other anti-social activities. He added that it is a non-government and a non-profitable society to encourage talented youth of Punjab by providing them platforms at both national and international level to showcase their skills.
