Badal Visits Kotli, Expresses Condolence With Aggrieved Family Of Harkirat

Kotli (Ludhiana), June 1, 2016: Punjab Chief Minister Mr.Parkash Singh Badal today deeply mourned the untimely demise of Mr.Harkirat Singh (41), the grandson of former Chief Minister Mr.Beant Singh, son of former Minister Mr.Tej Parkash Singh Kotli and younger brother of Khanna MLA Mr.Gurkirat Singh Kotli at village Kotli near Payal, here this morning.
Mr.Badal today called on the bereaved family here at their ancestral house and shared his heartfelt sympathies with them. It may be recalled that Harkirat Singh had passed away in an unfortunate incident at Chandigarh on May 30. He was also the Sarpanch of village Kotli and is survived by his wife.
Sharing his condolences with the grief-stricken family, Mr. Badal said that it was an irreparable loss for the entire Kotli family and prayed to the Almighty to give enormous strength to bear this huge loss in this hour of crisis and grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
Prominent amongst those who were present on the occasion included Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Dr. Charanjit Singh Atwal, former MLA Mr. Ranjit Singh Talwandi, former minister Mr. Malkit Singh Dakha, Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board Chairman Mr. Santa Singh Umedpuri, Deputy Commissioner Mr Ravi Bhagat, DIG Mr SK Kalia, SSP Khanna Mr Satinderpal Singh, besides several others.
