Avon Cycles Ltd receives AEO (T-2) certificate

Ludhiana, July 15, 2019: Avon Cycles Limited has received Authorized Economic Operator (T-2) Certificate from Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, issued by AEO Programme Manager/ Commissioner Director of international Custom Certificate given by A.S.Ranga Commissioner of Customs, Ludhiana.

Onkar Singh Pahwa, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, M/s Avon Cycles Limited received the AEO T2 Certificate from Ranga. This has been done in recognition and appreciation of the commitment to secure the international supply chain and in compliance with the WCO’s SAFE Framework of Standards, The Indian Customs Certified AVON Cycles Limited in its Authorized Economic Operator (AEO).

According to the World Customs Organization (WCO), an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) is a party involved in the international movement of goods in whatever function that has been approved by or on behalf of a national customs administration as complying with WCO or equivalent supply chain security standards.

Gurmeet Singh Kular President FICO (Federation of Industrial and Commercial Organization) whole heartedly congratulated Pahwa for attaining such a prestigious certification from the GoI. Pahwa is also patron-in-chief of FICO.

FICO general secretary Manjinder Singh Sachdeva has also congratulated Pahwa, stating that “we are proud on Avon Cycles Limited”.
