Assembly session in Tapovan, Dharamshala from Dec 9; arrangements reviewed

Dharamshala, November 27, 2019: The district administration has started preparations for the proposed assembly session in Tapovan, Dharamshala starting from 9th December.
In this regard, a necessary meeting was conducted in Dharamshala on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati.
Superintendent of Police Vimukt Ranjan, Himachal Pradesh Assembly Secretary Yashpal Sharma, Deputy Director Hardayal Bhardwaj, Section Officer Rajendra Thakur and various officials were present.
Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati said that the winter session of the assembly will be held from December 9 to December 14, for which all the departmental officers have been given guidelines to make necessary arrangements. He said that the officials of the Department of Electricity and IPH have also been asked to provide necessary facilities for electricity, drinking water etc. in the assembly premises.
On this occasion, while discussing about the security system in detail, Superintendent of Police, Vimukt Ranjan said that during the assembly session, a plan of security has been prepared and necessary steps will also be taken regarding traffic and parking so that any level , the common people do not have to face any kind of inconvenience.
The facilities were also reviewed later in the assembly premises in Tapovan Dharamshala.
