Asahi India Glass Ltd selects 18 students of SBS State Technical Campus

Ferozepur, May 16, 2016: Top multinational Glass Manufacturing company Asahi India Glass Limited selected 18 (Eighteen) students out of which nine students from Diploma Final Year Mechanical Engineering and nine students of Final Year Electrical Engineering discipline during Campus Placement Drive at Polytechnic Wing of Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus, Ferozepur. The Company is offering annual salary package of Rs.1.3 lacs.

Out of these eighteen selected students sixteen students are from Poly Wing of this Campus and two students from Government Polytechnic College, Ferozepur.

Total 84 students appeared in Aptitude Test and Technical Test and 41 students were selected for Interview. In final interview total eighteen students were selected. The names of Mechanical students are Chandan Kumar, Shobhakant, Rajiv Ranjan, Abhinandan, Deepak kumar Paswan, Prakash Kumar,Shatrudan, Bikram, Anand Kumar.The names of Electrical Students are Anubhav, Azad, Rahul Kumar Bhagat, Deepak Singh, Rishikamal, Kunjan Tiwari, Rishikesh, Upendra Kumar Sharma, Kuljeet Singh.

Dr. T. S. Sidhu, Campus Director appreciated the efforts of Training and Placement Cell of Poly Wing for organising Campus Drive. Prof Gazal Preet Singh, Principal Poly Wing and Mr Retaish Uppal, Training and Placement Officer Poly Wing congratulated all the selected students and conveyed them best wishes for their Career. On this occasion Prof Gobind, HOD Mechanical Engg, Mr Rahul Sharma, HOD Electrical Engg Deptt and Mr. Rajesh Kumar Training Incharge Electrical Engineering Department congratulated their students for this achievement.
