Army Recruitment Rally At Dholewal Military Station, Ludhiana From 18 April

Ludhiana: An Indian Army recruitment rally for the candidates from districts of Ludhiana, Moga, SAS Nagar, and Rupnagar districts will be conducted from 18 April 2017 to 26 April 2017 at Dholewal Military Station, under the aegis of ARO Ludhiana for the recruitment categories of soldier (general duty), soldier (clerk/store keeper technical), soldier technical, soldier technical (nursing assistant) and soldier tradesmen.The Director Recruiting Col. Kamal Kishore informed that, a total of 20,295 candidates have registered for the recruitment screening, which is a 30% increase since last year and good sign as well.

Giving details of the screening schedule, he said that screening and physical test will be conducted on april 18, 2017 for the posts of soldier technical and soldier technical (nursing assistant) from districts of Ludhiana, Moga, SAS Nagar and Rupnagar (all districts). soldier tradesmen from all tehsils of Rupnagar and SAS Nagar districts only.

On 19 april for the posts soldier tradesmen from all tehsils of Rupnagar and SAS Nagar districts only. On 20 april for the posts of soldier general duty from all tehsils of Ludhiana districts except Jagraon tehsil. On 21 april for the posts of soldier general duty from Jagraon tehsils of Ludhiana district and soldier general duty from all tehsils of Moga districts. On 22 april for the soldier general duty from all tehsils of Rupnagar district except Rupnagar tehsil. On 23 april for the posts of soldier general duty from Rupnagar tehsil of Rupnagar district and soldier general duty from all tehsils of SAS Nagar district. On 24 april for the posts of soldier clerk/storekeeper technical from all tehsils of Ludhiana, Moga, SAS Nagar and Rupnagar (all districts) and outsider sanction cases.

He said that the candidates shall initally undergo the physical fitness tests and those qualifying successfully would be put through physical measurement tests. The detailed screening of documents would be carried out of physical and measurement test qualified candidates. Candidates must ensure to bring original documents on the day of screening viz. education certificates issued by education board, residence/nativity certificate issued by the tehsildar/sdm, caste certificate issued by the tehsildar/sdm, character certificate from schools & colleges, unmarried certificate issued by village sarpanch/distt administration within six months with photo, no claim certificate duly countersigned by the village sarpanch with photo, candidates below 18 years to bring no claim certificate duly signed by their parents, ncc certificate (a/b/c), participation in sports at international/national/state level with 1st and 2nd position within last two years, relationship certificates etc. the medical examination of such qualified candidates would be undertaken on the following day of physical screening.

The candidates must report at the rally site by 02.00 hrs on their respective screening days. They should download their admit cards from website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. common entrance exam (cee) for successful screened candidates is scheduled on 28 May 2017.
